Doorstop Toolkit from Safe Ireland: #FaceUpToDomesticViolence
We want to ask the participating politicians questions on what they, and their parties will do to help transform the response to domestic violence across 3 critical areas:
- Ensuring a determined, whole of Government response to the complexity of domestic violence, from health to education to justice.
- Enacting vital new legislation and progressing women-centred policy.
- Allocating additional resources to address immediate gaps in struggling services, from the Gardaí to specialist domestic violence services to the provision of safe housing, and to secure critical work on prevention and awareness.
